Plan of Work

The project is being managed with the use of the Royal Institute of British Architecture (RIBA) Plan of Work. This breaks the project down into stages that are recognised by architects, funders and contractors as an appropriate way of managing the project.

We are currently working toward the completion of Stage 1 of the plan ‘Preparation and Briefing’ with a key document the ‘Project Brief’ currently in development. We are working with our Church Council, our congregations, other Churches in Kirkby Lonsdale, organisations across the town including the Town Council and finally with the local community and visitors to Kirkby Lonsdale. We will be posting a draft of the Project Plan here in September and will be inviting comments.
